  purchase flows, used by 5 teams and 3 brands at 99.95% uptime. Built plug-and-play payment, billing and shipping
  components with authorization, split/on-demand capture and post-order fulfillment, accelerating new payment methods
  and market expansion.
- **People and technical leadership:** Scaled the team to 12, hiring 5 engineers and promoting 3 into senior roles.
  Owned architecture and critical technical decisions, translating business priorities into technical roadmaps, design
  standards and operational practices.
- **PCI-DSS compliance and expansion:** Led a global card-security transformation, replacing agent-handled card capture
  with secure telephony payments, building configurable payment links and re-architecting web card capture, removing
  card data from agents and systems and passing compliance audits.
- **Credit risk, fraud prevention and settlement:** Built pre- and post-order controls using AVS checks, velocity rules,
  risk scoring, capture/hold logic, payment validation and settlement workflows. Added self-service invoice workflows,
  cutting review time ~40%, loss exposure ~15% and reconciliation time ~45%. Enhanced detection using device
  intelligence and behavioral signals.
- **Payment gateways and methods:** Expanded payments across 10 markets via Adyen, Braintree, PayPal and Klarna, adding
  wallets, direct debit, bank transfer and Pay by Invoice.
- **AI adoption and context engineering:** Drove adoption of coding agents, LLMs and agentic workflows across 3 teams,
